Precision Blood Labs LTD
1. Consent
1.1 By booking an appointment with Precision Blood Labs LTD, you confirm that:
You have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
You consent to blood collection by a trained phlebotomist.
You understand that results will be sent to the email address associated with your booking unless otherwise requested.
2. Test Results
2.1 Test results will only be discussed with the individual tested.
2.2 Results will be delivered via email. If a result indicates a potential immediate health risk, we may contact you to recommend that you seek medical advice promptly.
2.3 Precision Blood Labs LTD does not provide medical advice, interpret results, or refer clients to a GP or other healthcare professional. Clients must seek their own medical advice regarding their test results.
3. Age Requirements
3.1 Persons under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian during testing.
3.2 The supervising adult will receive the test results at the email address provided during booking.
3.3 It is the client’s responsibility to provide an accurate date of birth when booking. If a test is booked for a minor, we must be notified in advance to ensure appropriate laboratory procedures are followed.
4. Analysis & Delivery of Results
4.1 Precision Blood Labs LTD facilitates blood sample collection and arranges for laboratory testing through Randox Health.
4.2 We make every effort to ensure timely delivery of results; however, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Insufficient sample volume.
Coagulated or compromised samples.
Delays at the laboratory.
Exposure to extreme temperatures during transport.
4.3 If a sample is unusable, a repeat collection may be required.
5. Liability & Accountability
5.1 Clients are responsible for seeking medical advice regarding their test results.
5.2 Precision Blood Labs LTD does not assume responsibility for:
The accuracy of test results (as testing is conducted by Randox Health).
Interpretation of test results.
Any medical decisions made based on results.
5.3 By using our services, clients acknowledge that test results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis.
6. Risks Associated with Blood Testing
6.1 While blood collection is a routine procedure, clients acknowledge that potential risks include:
Minor pain, bruising, or swelling at the puncture site.
Fainting or dizziness.
Bleeding under the skin (haematoma).
Infection (rare, as sterile equipment is used).
6.2 Precision Blood Labs LTD is fully insured for all phlebotomy procedures.
6.3 By agreeing to have blood drawn, clients give informed consent and accept these risks.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
7.1 Appointments require a valid debit/credit card to secure the booking.
7.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
7.3 No refunds will be issued for cancellations within this timeframe. Clients wishing to book a new appointment must do so at full price.
8. Late Arrival Procedure
8.1 Clients are advised to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment.
8.2 If a client arrives 5-10 minutes late, we will make every effort to proceed with the appointment, but the session may be shortened if necessary.
8.3 If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, we cannot guarantee the appointment will proceed.
8.4 If we are unable to accommodate the late arrival, it will be considered a missed appointment, and the full appointment fee will still apply.
8.5 Clients who wish to rebook must schedule a new appointment and pay the full fee.
9. Complaints Procedure
9.1 Complaints must follow our Complaint Procedure, which requires:
An internal review by Precision Blood Labs LTD.
An offer of resolution (where applicable).
Mediation before legal action.
9.2 If mediation results in an agreement, both parties will sign a binding settlement.
9.3 Legal proceedings may not be initiated until all steps of the Complaint Procedure have been exhausted.
10. Data Protection & Confidentiality
10.1 Precision Blood Labs LTD complies with GDPR and Irish data protection laws.
10.2 Client data, including test results, is confidential and only shared with Randox Health for processing.
10.3 We do not share client data with third parties unless required by law.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law.
11.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
12. Amendments
12.1 Precision Blood Labs LTD reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2 Clients will be notified of any material changes before they take effect.
