Timeframe:
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 business days.
A full investigation will be conducted, and we will provide a written response with our decision within 15 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Offer of Resolution
If your complaint is upheld, we will propose a resolution. This may include:
A re-examination of the service provided.
Additional clarification of results.
Alternative solutions where possible (excluding financial compensation).
If you accept the resolution, the matter will be considered closed. If you reject the resolution, you may proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Mediation
If you are not satisfied with our proposed resolution, we offer mediation as an alternative to legal proceedings. Mediation is conducted by an independent third-party mediator to help both parties reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
Timeframe:
Mediation must be requested within 10 business days of receiving our resolution offer.
The mediation process will be scheduled within 30 business days.
If mediation results in an agreement, both parties will sign a binding settlement. If mediation fails, you may proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Motion to Delay Legal Proceedings
Before initiating legal action, we require a formal motion to delay proceedings while we explore any remaining avenues for resolution. This allows us to engage in a final review and attempt to resolve the issue outside of court.
Timeframe:
The motion must be submitted within 10 business days of the failed mediation.
We will provide a final response within 15 business days.
If no agreement is reached, you are free to pursue legal action.
We are fully insured for phlebotomy services, and while injuries from blood testing may occur, we take all necessary precautions to minimize risks.
This Complaints Procedure ensures that all concerns are handled fairly, efficiently, and professionally, offering multiple opportunities for resolution before legal action is considered.
