When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by staff from Precision Blood Labs. We will take some details from you and gather as much information as we can about you as to why you want to have your bloodwork tested. Information we will need will surround your lifestyle, exercise habits, daily nutrition and hydration status. It will be the most relaxed and comfortable conversation you will have had about you health in years.
-
We endeavour to have results within 3-5 days, however, results can take up to 7 days. If for some reason, there is an insufficient sample of blood, your main health markers may be checked by the lab as a priority. If they have checked any particular marker which has resulted in something showing abnormal, they may run that same test again for clarification. This will all take additional time.
-
If your appointment is later in the day, please bring some food or a snack to consume after you have given your sample.
-
Sometimes, when someone is dehydrated, their ability to have blood drawn is much more difficult.
If you are very cold on the day or suffer from any condition where you have poor vasculature, it may be more difficult.
We will accommodate everyone here at Precision Blood Labs, and do our very best to ensure you have a positive and worthwhile experience.
Please let us know in advance if you have a history of a difficult blood draw in the past.
